Scope & Content Maintenance Policy
This page explains what clashlatest.com is, where the content comes from, how it is maintained, and what to keep in mind when using the related software.
What This Site Is
Clash Official Site (clashlatest.com) organizes download links for Clash-family clients on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS, alongside a setup guide, an installation handbook, an FAQ, and a glossary. Download links point to each client's official release channel or app store listing; installer contents are never modified.
The Clash Open-Source Background
Clash began as an open-source, rule-based proxy core. After the original repository stopped receiving updates, the community fork Clash.Meta continued development and was later renamed mihomo, which now powers most mainstream GUI clients (Clash Verge Rev, FlClash, and others). In other words, "Clash" today refers to an ecosystem: the mihomo core handles the protocol and rule engine, while GUI clients on each platform are maintained separately by different community teams. This site indexes those clients by platform and is not affiliated with any single development team.
Content Maintenance Policy
- Official release addresses are verified before a download channel is listed, and version info is refreshed in sync with the release channel;
- Setup and configuration guides are written from actual walkthroughs, with platform differences noted separately rather than copied from outdated screenshots and steps;
- Broken links or changed interface paths found during routine checks are updated on the relevant pages.
If you run into trouble, start with the troubleshooting paths in the FAQ; for installation questions, check the matching platform section in the installation handbook.
